Troubleshooting the QBank Office 365 Connector

If you’re having trouble accessing the login screen in the QBank Office 365 Connector, it’s likely due to a caching issue. Clearing the cache usually resolves this and allows the connector to reload properly.

Below are the steps for both Windows and Mac users.

Windows: Clear cache and restart the connector

  1. Right-click inside the connector window and select Inspect (or Granska)
    – Alternatively, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose View source

  2. In the developer panel, go to the Application tab

  3. Under Local Storage, select the item starting with https://office-connector...

  4. Right-click and choose Clear

  5. Close the Inspect window

  6. Close the connector window

  7. Reopen the connector from Word or PowerPoint

Mac: Clear web cache and restart the connector

  1. Click the menu in the top-right corner of the connector window

  2. Select Clear Web Cache

  3. Close the connector window

  4. Reopen the connector from Word or PowerPoint
