What is Media rating?

The media rating parses all your files on a daily basis and ranks them from what we consider most to least popular.

The media rating parses all your files on a daily basis and ranks them from what we consider most to least popular. The popularity is based on more or less every party of a media's life, for example;- how often it is being viewed, downloaded and updated.

How is the rating calculated?

Here is what QBank considers as factors of the popularity of a given media:

  • How often it is being viewed, downloaded and updated
  • How many integrations and public channels it is connected to
  • How well it's properties have been filled out
  • The dimensions of the file, i.e. low/high resolution, vector based image etc.

NOTE: You can find the media rating as a sorting option, and check out individual ranking details from the respective media detail view.

Understand the Media Rating value: The maximum rating is set to be 38, meaning the higher the number, the most "popular" the media is.
