The media rating parses all your files on a daily basis and ranks them from what we consider most to least popular. The popularity is based on more or less every party of a media's life, for example;- how often it is being viewed, downloaded and updated.
How is the rating calculated?
Here is what QBank considers as factors of the popularity of a given media:
- How often it is being viewed, downloaded and updated
- How many integrations and public channels it is connected to
- How well it's properties have been filled out
- The dimensions of the file, i.e. low/high resolution, vector based image etc.
NOTE: You can find the media rating as a sorting option, and check out individual ranking details from the respective media detail view.
Understand the Media Rating value: The maximum rating is set to be 38, meaning the higher the number, the most "popular" the media is.
Adjust rating: Note that you also have the possibility to adjust the "Media rating" value if needed by clicking on "View details" under the thumbnail in detail view, editing the "Adjust rating" field.
