      Installing QBank Chrome Connector

      A Step-by-Step Guide to Installing the Qbank Chrome Connector

      There are a number of benefits adding QBank to your chrome browser, most notable are:

      • Search and filter for assets in QBank

      • Browse through folders

      • Select an asset and choose format

      • Drag and drop on to the browser interface

      • Copy link to the published files

      • Report usage to QBank

      Installation

      You can install the connector by downloading it from Chrome Store directly or ask QBank support to provide it as a zip file.

      Install it from Chrome Store

      1. Go to the  and Install the QBank Connector.(https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/qbank-connector/jjleipicaemjilccnmaophdegjgmbmbh)

      2. Open Google Chrome: Launch the browser and ensure internet connectivity.

      3. Access Chrome Web Store: Navigate to Chrome store .

      4. Search for Extension: Use the search bar to find the desired extension or click here.

      5. Install Extension: Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm installation.

      6. Wait for Installation: Allow Chrome to download and install the extension.

      7. Access Extension: Locate the extension icon near the address bar to start using it.

      8. Manage Extensions (Optional): Customize or remove extensions via Chrome's settings menu.

      Install it from QBank provided link

        1. Click on the provided QBank link to download the connector.
        2. Once downloaded, open Google Chrome.
        3. Type "chrome://extensions/" in the address bar and press Enter.
        4. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
        5. Unzip the downloaded file on your computer.
        6. Go back to the "chrome://extensions/" page and click "Load unpacked extension".
        7. Select the unzipped folder to install the extension.

        After installation:

        1. Find the extension icon in the toolbar and click on it.
        2. Click the 'Pin' icon to keep it easily accessible.

        To finish setup:

        1. Enter the QBank backend's host name.
        2. Provide your username and password.
        3. Click 'Login' to connect.
